Dr. Nathan McLeod joins the medical staff
10/20/2013
SILOAM SPRINGS—Nathan McLeod, M.D., has joined the medical staff of Northwest Health.
Dr. McLeod graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine at Little Rock. He served his residency and internship at St. Vincent Hospital, Departments of Internal Medicine & Family Medicine at Indianapolis.
Dr. McLeod joined Siloam Springs Internal Medicine at 1101-1 N. Progress Ave. in Siloam Springs, and is now accepting appointments. Trained in both internal medicine and family medicine Dr. McLeod said he chose a dual training program because he had anticipated practicing in a smaller community and felt having a broad range of skills would be beneficial.
"Although I am joining Siloam Springs Internal Medicine, I am trained to treat patients of all ages," Dr. McLeod said. "I treat most medical conditions, but have a special interest in skin diseases (acne, rosacea, etc.), chronic disease management, and care of the hospitalized and critically ill patient." Dr. McLeod’s believes medical expertise within a trusting relationship is key between a doctor and a patient. "Helping people overcome illness and improve their health is always rewarding," Dr. McLeod said. "Dr. McLeod and his wife are both Northwest Arkansas natives – and we were very pleased to be able to bring them back to the area," said Kevin Clement, chief executive officer at Northwest Health. "We are always working to bring more physicians and services to our area and we are happy to welcome Dr. McLeod and his family."
Dr. McLeod will be seeing patients from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. For an appointment or more information, call (479) 549-4010.
