Tiffany Means earns Doctor of Nursing Practice degree

Tiffany Means, DNP, MHA, CENP, has earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Means is Director of Emergency Services-Springdale and Fayetteville. The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is designed to prepare experts in nursing practice. It builds upon master’s programs by providing a more in-depth educational foundation in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and systems leadership, as well as other key management and care disciplines.
Means joined Northwest Health in October of 2017 as director of emergency services for Northwest Medical Center-Springdale, assuming responsibility in 2019 for the new Northwest Health Fayetteville Emergency Department. The new Fayetteville ED is scheduled to open in March.
Means holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Southwest Baptist University and a master’s degree in health administration from Missouri State University. She has also earned national certification as an Executive in Nurse Practice (CENP) through the American Organization for Nursing Leadership.
