Northwest Health Celebrates Physicians with Community-focused Giving on National Doctors’ Day

In recognition of National Doctors' Day, celebrated annually on March 30, Northwest Health is honoring its medical staff with charitable contributions to local nonprofit organizations. This day serves as an opportunity to recognize physicians for their skill, compassion and dedication to improving the health of the communities they serve.
"Our physicians are at the heart of everything we do at Northwest Health," said Juli McWhorter, CEO of Northwest Medical Center — Bentonville. "Their commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care makes a lasting impact on patients and families across our region. We are proud to recognize their contributions by supporting organizations that strengthen the health and well-being of our community."
In honor of its physicians, Northwest Health is making $5,000 charitable contributions to For the Love NWA and New Beginnings NWA, two organizations dedicated to addressing critical needs across Northwest Arkansas.
For the Love NWA is dedicated to feeding the hungry, cultivating community and fighting poverty by providing meals and fostering connection for individuals and families across Northwest Arkansas. New Beginnings NWA is dedicated to ending homelessness in Northwest Arkansas by providing safe housing, supportive services and a path to long-term stability for individuals facing complex barriers.
"Our physicians extend care far beyond the walls of our hospitals and clinics," said Kory Browning, CEO of Northwest Medical Center — Springdale. "By supporting organizations like For the Love NWA and New Beginnings NWA, we are able to further that impact, helping address important social factors that influence health and creating stronger, healthier communities."
National Doctors' Day is a time to celebrate the vital role physicians play in providing life-saving care and improving quality of life. Through this annual recognition, Northwest Health expresses its deep appreciation for the expertise, compassion and commitment of its medical staff.
