Family Welcomes Triplets at Willow Creek Women’s Hospital

JOHNSON, Ark. (July 21, 2025) – It wasn’t long after the honeymoon when newlyweds Hannah and Dustin learned they were expecting a new addition to their family. In nine months their son, Liam, would soon meet a new brother or sister, and their family of three would expand to four. Or, maybe, five.
Both parents have a history of twins in their families. Excited about the new addition, they announced the pregnancy to their parents around Halloween. But when the extended family gathered for the Thanksgiving holiday, Hannah and Dustin had a bigger announcement – they were expecting triplets.
“We thought there was a chance at twins, but not triplets,” Hannah said.
On May 22, the family of three welcomed Laken, 3 pounds, 13 ounces and 17 inches, who arrived before his sisters. Second was Ivy at 4 pounds, 11 ounces and 18 inches. And then Oakley was born at 4 pounds, 5 ounces and 17 inches. The couple agreed that the delivery was a good experience.
“Everything went pretty smooth and quick,” Dustin said.
In the wee hours on Sunday, May 11 – Mother’s Day – Hannah started going into labor and was hospitalized at Northwest Medical Center – Willow Creek Women’s Hospital (WCWH). Under the care of her OB/GYN, Michael Clouatre, M.D., member of the medical staff at WCWH, the team stopped Hannah’s contractions to give the triplets more time to grow and reduce the risks of health complications. However, she would start to go into labor two more times during the following week-and-a-half at the hospital.
The couple planned to deliver the babies on May 21, but were able to wait an extra day. After welcoming a son and two daughters, the family moved upstairs to the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). There, the babies were able to stay in the same room as their family while also receiving care from professionals at WCWH who provided the extra attention the triplets needed.
Hannah noted the special care her family received during the entire experience. This allowed them to get to know the nursing team on a personal level.
As for the family of six’s future, Hannah shared, “Brother is starting to accept it. He likes it more now, and he’s helping out.”
With their parents close by and family members coming in each day to help out, they graduated from the NICU.
“We knew we’d be here for as long as we’ve had to stay,” Hannah said. “We couldn’t have asked for it to go better.”
