Dr. McLeod treating patients at OCH of Gravette Clinic
12/17/2013
GRAVETTE – Nathan McLeod, M.D., internal medicine physician, recently started seeing patients at Ozarks Community Hospital of Gravette Clinic and is now taking appointments.
“We are happy to have Dr. McLeod and know our patients will greatly benefit from this service,” said David Tucker, M.D., of Ozarks Community Hospital of Gravette Clinic.
Dr. McLeod specializes in internal medicine. A native of Northwest Arkansas, Dr. McLeod returned to the area to care for hometown communities. Currently, Dr. McLeod is part of the Siloam Springs Regional Hospital Medical Staff and also sees patients at Siloam Springs Internal Medicine.
He received his education from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine at Little Rock. He served his residency and internship at St. Vincent Hospital, Departments of Internal Medicine & Family Medicine at Indianapolis.
“Internal Medicine is a specialized need that has been missing from the Gravette area for several years,” Dr. Tucker said. “I’m glad to know this will be close to home again for many of our patients.”
Being a part of the Gravette Clinic gives Dr. McLeod an opportunity to support the local physicians and treat internal medicine patients he might not see in Siloam Springs. Focusing on the patient and giving specialized care is important to Dr. McLeod.
“I feel offering sound medical expertise within a trusting relationship is the most important thing a physician can offer a patient,” he said. “I’m also looking forward to working with the physicians at the Gravette Clinic. They have been helping care for this community for many years and I’m really going to enjoy being a part of that longstanding service.”
Dr. McLeod treats most medical conditions; however, he has a special interest in chronic disease management, skin conditions, and care of critically ill patients.
“If you need more specialized treatment with your complex medical conditions, please ask your provider if I can help,” he said. “Helping people overcome illness and improving their health is always a rewarding part of my job.”
Dr. McLeod will work alongside Dr. Tucker; Kenneth Poemoceah, M.D.; Nancy Jones, M.D.; and William Frank Webb, M.D. at the Gravette Clinic.
