Family Birth Place
The all-in-one labor, delivery, and recovery birthing suites at Northwest Medical Center - Bentonville enable the birth to take place in a comfortable and reassuring environment with a warm, family atmosphere. The suites are decorated and furnished to make the new family feel right at home. There is a television, couch, chairs, a place for the new mother’s coach to sleep, and other amenities.

Because time is of the essence when babies have decided to arrive, it is important that mothers know their physician is close. The physicians who practice at Northwest Medical Center - Bentonville have their offices no more than five minutes from this hospital, so they are quickly available. Every eligible labor and delivery nurse at both hospitals is certified in fetal monitoring by the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetrics and Neonatal Nurses. These highly specialized staff members also receive on-going training on fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation.
Should your infant be born sick, premature or with an extremely low birth weight, he or she will receive round-the-clock care in Northwest Health’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Northwest Medical Center - Willow Creek Women's Hospital. As the largest Level III C neonatal facility in the region, the NICU has board certified neonatologists and neonatal nurses who provide exceptional care for the most delicate of patients.
