Mobile Mammography Van

The MammoVan travels throughout Northwest Arkansas providing on-site mammograms. Each year, the MammoVan performs around 1,200 mammograms. The MammoVan gives women easier access to health care, as well as providing a less time-consuming exam for working women (each exam takes about 20 minutes). Insurance companies may cover much of the cost, or women can apply for assistance through the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  The van was donated to Northwest Health System by Bernice Jones.

Host sites are selected throughout Northwest Arkansas, as businesses and industries often serve as host sites so that employees may take advantage of the MammoVan's services. Call (479) 750-6579, ext. 3135 if you are interested in having the MammoVan visit your company.

The MammoVan is fully accredited by the American College of Radiology and certified by the Food and Drug Administration. Board certified radiologists interpret the films.
