Working with You to Manage Your Diabetes and Your Health
Northwest Health System offers the guidance you need to adopt healthy lifestyle changes in order to live well with diabetes. Because of the nature of the disease, it is vital for you to play an active role in controlling it. Our knowledgeable, professional staff consists of Registered Nurses, Registered Dietitians, Certified Diabetes Educators and a Spanish translator. We also have an Endocrinologist on the medical staff that can consult with our patients. These professionals work with you and your physician to teach you how to manage your diabetes effectively.
Our diabetes self-management training program covers diabetes from every angle. You will learn all about how the disease progresses and what current treatments are available. We have the newest blood sugar monitors, insulin pumps, and insulin delivery systems. We also have access to the Cardiac Rehab Exercise rooms at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.
