Meeting Spiritual Needs at Northwest Health
The Pastoral Care team at Northwest Health strive to provide spiritual guidance, pastoral presence and religious rites to patients, family members and staff that are compatible with their expressed desire and individual faith system.
Chapel
A chapel for prayer and meditation is located on the first floor of Harvey Jones Tower 2 at Northwest Medical Center - Springdale, and on the first floor near the main entrance at Northwest Medical Center - Bentonville.
Services Offered by Pastoral Care:
Surgery/Waiting Room Liaison
Chaplains serve as liaisons between the surgical team and family members to keep families informed throughout surgery.
Advanced Directive and Living Wills
Members of our Pastoral Care team can assist patients with advance directives related to their healthcare and/or help them establish Living Wills.
Prayer and Devotion Line
Patients, staff and hospital visitors can dial 72345 on hospital phones at any time to hear an uplifting message, poem, devotion or affirmation. (From Willow Creek Women's Hospital, dial 757-2345)
Clinical Pastoral Education
Northwest Health makes available accredited clinical pastoral care training for local clergy, counselors, therapists and Stephen Ministers. Learn More
