Responding to Our Community's Needs, 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week Regardless of what unforeseen accident or emergency day-to-day life deals you, Northwest Health System’s full-service Emergency Departments are ready and waiting to handle it with our Emergency Department process.
Our Emergency Department cares for people in all types of situations, from minor illnesses to life-threatening injuries. We offer 24 hour interventional cardiology and an around-the-clock heart catheterization team.
Chest Pain Response Center at Northwest Medical Center - Springdale prioritizes patients who have chest pain and heart attack symptoms. Our Emergency Department has a state-of-the-art 64 multi-slice CT scanner available in our Cardiac Cath Lab.
Minor Care Area offers treatment for less serious illness and injuries, and is open Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 5:30pm-10:00pm. The minor care area is located at Northwest Medical Center - Springdale.
An impressive team of professionals staffs our Emergency Department. We have Certified Emergency Nurses (CEN), nurses certified in Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (CNPC), and Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS).
All emergency treatment rooms at Northwest Medical Center - Springdale are equipped with a special phone system with the ability to translate over 150 languages, including Spanish, Marshallese, Chinese and many more.
