Culture
The cultural centerpiece of Northwest Arkansas is the Walton Arts Center, a beautiful arts and entertainment complex in Fayetteville, which attracts nationally prominent theater, concerts, dance troupes and other events. It’s also home base for the respected North Arkansas Symphony.
Springdale’s Shiloh Museum of Ozark History, the Rogers Historical Museum, the Siloam Springs Museum and the Peel House Museum and Historical Garden in Bentonville preserve the heritage of the region. After all of that cultural enlightenment, it’s nice to let go at one of the many gathering places on Fayetteville’s Dickson Street, which has a vibrant music scene, with local acts that have followings well beyond our borders.

As evidenced by the steady stream of luxury cars and SUVs on the roads, the economy of the Northwest Arkansas region is strong. Northwest Arkansas grew by 47 percent between 1990 and 2000, making it the fastest growing region in the state and the sixth fastest in the nation. In 2006, Forbes' Magazine named Fayetteville the 9th Best Place in the United States for Business and Careers.
Northwest Arkansas is the retail capital of the world, thanks to Wal-Mart, the world’s largest corporation, headquartered in Bentonville. NWA boasts the headquarters of Fortune 100 company such as Tyson Foods and J.B. Hunt Transport.
Travel
Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA) is just minutes away and offers 57 flights in and out daily, with direct jet service to New York, Newark, Chicago, Charlotte, Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Memphis, St. Louis, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Denver, Salt Lake City and Detroit.
Our community is convenietly located along Interstate I-540 running north-south to major cities of interest. In addition, a second major airport and hub for Southwest Airlines is located approximately 1 1/2 hours away in Tulsa, OK.
