We offer a team approach to cardiac services that ensures total patient care. We are the only facility in Arkansas that offers an Electrophysiology
Navigation and Ablation System. Our Intravascular Ultrasound
with Virtual Histology technology is the only one of its kind in Northwest Arkansas. From a simple electrocardiogram to open heart surgery and cardiac rehab, and from education to diagnostics, a full range of cardiac services is available.
Imaging
The hospital features Arkansas's first completely digital imaging department, meaning radiology results are viewed on a computer instead of on film. This eliminates waiting for film to be processed, and gives your physician the ability to view your results privately and immediately from their office computer or another location. Digital imaging allows your physician to more quickly determine the appropriate follow-up for your care. A separate, on-site women's diagnostic center offers digital mammography, bone density, and ultrasound testing.
Northwest Rehab
Northwest Rehab (located in The Agility Center) is a unique concept in patient care. It is a facility dedicated to preventing, diagnosing, and treating illnesses and injuries of the joints, muscles, bones, spine, and neck. The Agility Center is where a variety of interrelated specialists - orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, a hand and plastic surgeon and a rheumatologist - come together to work as an interdisciplinary team. The Center features a state-of-the-art swimming pool with aquatic therapy machines, and a beautiful outpatient physical therapy facility.
Senior Health Centers
Northwest Senior Health Centers are located in Bella Vista and at the Schmieding Center in Springdale. The Senior Health Centers are staffed and designed specifically for the care of the area's growing senior population. These senior-focused clinics offer the area's only fellowship-trained geriatricians who provide rush-free appointments, medication management services, family involvement, and senior-friendly equipment and furnishings.
Women's Services
The women's floor offers home-like labor/delivery/postpartum suites. A unique feature is that the surgical suites for C-sections are located on the same floor, rather than in another part of the hospital. Women who require C-sections appreciate the ability to remain on the obstetrics unit instead of having to be taken to an operating room in another part of the hospital. Northwest Medical Center - Bentonville has also instituted an innovative security system which offers parents the comfort of knowing that their baby's location is being closely monitored at all times and that an alarm will sound if a baby is removed from the unit without permission.
