Carol Gore, R.N., B.S.N., Chief Nursing Officer, Willow Creek Women's Hospital

Carol Gore, R.N, B.S.N., serves as Chief Nursing Officer and Community Cares Champion at Willow Creek Women's Hospital.

She formerly served as Chief Nursing Officer of Forrest City Medical Center. Prior to accepting the Chief Nursing Officer position in Forrest City, she was supervisor of the Women’s Services unit at Forrest City Medical Center. Ms. Gore has 18 years’ experience in women’s services and worked in conjunction with the anesthesia group that provided anesthesia services for Surgery patients as well as Obstetrics patients.

During Ms. Gore’s tenure as CNO at the Forrest City hospital, she was heavily involved in projects such as the opening of an 18-bed inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit, a “swing bed” program implementation and an Emergency Room renovation of more than $5 million.

Ms. Gore has served as a member of the Advisory Committee for Crowley’s Ridge Technical Institute’s Nursing Program and also member of the Forrest City hospital’s Healthy Woman Advisory Board. (Healthy Woman is a women’s health education program).

She received her associate degree in nursing from East Arkansas Community College in Forrest City and earned a bachelor’s degree from South University.

Ms. Gore and her husband, Tony, have been married for 13 years and live in Springdale. Her three children (a son and daughter in college at the University of Arkansas and a son at home) range in age from 12 to 22.
